Uzbekistan`s construction materials exports exceeded $428 million in six months.
The "UzpromstroyMaterialy" Association presented export data on building materials for the first half of 2025.
According to Jamshid Shermetov, Head of the Association's Information Service, who spoke at a briefing, during this period the industry’s products were exported for a total of $428.4 million.
Main export destinations:
- Russia — $107 million (ceramic and metal products, stone products, PVC profiles, pipes and fittings)
- Kazakhstan — $94.7 million (dry construction mixes, gypsum boards, PVC profiles, metal products)
- Kyrgyzstan — $64.4 million
- Tajikistan — $53.7 million
- Azerbaijan — $9.7 million
- Turkmenistan — $9.3 million
To expand export opportunities, Uzbekistan Trade Houses, showrooms, and warehouses have been opened in Baku, Dushanbe, Lahore, Kabul, Mazar-i-Sharif, Jalal-Abad, Ulaanbaatar, and Aktau, showcasing more than 50 types of domestically produced building materials with high added value.
To promote their products, Uzbek companies took part in international business forums and exhibitions, including:
- "Innoprom Central Asia 2025" (Tashkent)
- "Russia-Islamic World Kazan Forum 2025" (Kazan)
- "Made in Uzbekistan" exhibitions (Tbilisi and Ulaanbaatar)
- "International Exhibition of Turkic States" (Baku)
In addition, the company Ernst & Young has been engaged to conduct marketing research of domestic and foreign markets. Based on international expertise, it is planned to analyze building materials markets in North America, Russia and the Caucasus, the Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia, and Europe, as well as to identify new promising directions for export diversification.
