The new Tashkent can become a platform for unique "dynamic skyscrapers"
At the investment forum, the ambitious architectural concepts of the future city were presented.
As part of the last day of the Tashkent International Investment Forum, the session “from the Renaissance cradle to the construction of the future” was held, dedicated to the key project of Uzbekistan - the construction of the new Tashkent.
Particular attention was attracted by the presentation of the architect David Fisher, the author of the concept of Dynamic Towers - skyscrapers with mobile elements. He announced his readiness to implement such a project in Uzbekistan. According to him, buildings of a new type will be cheaper, faster in construction and energy -efficient traditional ones: elements are gathered modularly, in factories, which simplifies quality control.
Fisher emphasized that a similar project starts in the United States, and Tashkent may become the next location. Financing is possible at the expense of an Italian export loan covering up to 85% of expenses.
Experts noted that the new Tashkent is not just a project, but an opportunity to demonstrate an innovative approach to urban planning, to become a platform for world -class architectural and engineering experiments.
