A company from Saudi Arabia will open a cable plant in Tashkent

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade.

A delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khojaev visited the kingdom on a working visit on October 27-28. During the trip, an agreement was signed between MIPT and the company on the joint development of a project for the production of high-voltage cables in Tashkent.

The future plant will be able to produce 24 thousand tons of products per year and provide jobs for 340 people. The total investment in the project is estimated at $122 million.
