Tourist complex to be built in Namangan region for $ 150 million

In the Pap district of Namangan regiontook placeCeremony of laying the first stone of the Arashan Resort tourist complex. A large-scale project worth $150 million will be implemented on an area of ​​600 hectares and will become one of the largest in the region.

Khokim of the region Shavkat Abdurazzakov emphasized that the new complex is of strategic importance for the entire Fergana Valley. After launch, it will be able to receive up to 2.5 thousand tourists daily, and the annual flow of visitors will reach almost a million people. In addition, more than two thousand jobs will be created.

The future resort will unite areas of ecological, extreme and mountain tourism, cultural and entertainment centers, hotels, theme parks and ski resorts. The infrastructure will include an artificial lake, extensive attraction complexes, a 10-kilometer zipline, restaurants, an open-air cinema, an eco-market, sports facilities and swimming pools.

The project is being implemented jointly with the Japanese company NGEA - Nippon Global Education and Assessment, while environmental and safety standards will be monitored by specialists from Austria.

Let us remind you, a major investment project is being implemented in Khiva, which should become a new stage in the development of the city. A modern Congress Hall complex is being built here, as well as a new tourist area “Bokiy Shahar” (“Eternal City”), designed in the style of traditional Khiva architecture.
