UZBUILD STYLE: A LOOK BACK AT UZBEKISTAN’S CONSTRUCTION & INTERIOR WEEK

Uzbekistan Construction and Interior Week marked a dynamic opening to the 31st exhibition season of Iteca Exhibitions and its partner ICA Eurasia Group, bringing together the construction sector's leading events on a single, integrated platform:
• 27th Uzbekistan International Construction Exhibition — UzBuild 2026
• Specialised Section of UzBuild ‘Building Equipment and Technologies — BuildTech 2026’
• 7th International Conference of Construction Industry — ICCI 2026
This year’s edition attracted over 450 companies and brands, 39 speakers and 450 delegates from 22 countries, including Azerbaijan, Republic of Belarus, China, the Czech Republic, Georgia, Germany, Iran, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Latvia, Malta, Portugal, Republic of Korea, Russia, Spain, the UAE, the USA, Türkiye, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan.
Uzbekistan Construction and Interior Week was supported by ÇELİKER HOLDİNG — the General Sponsor — a leading Turkish company specialising in infrastructure and above-ground construction projects in Uzbekistan. The strong presence of Turkish manufacturers of construction technologies, materials and engineering solutions was also highlighted through dedicated coverage by the Turkish TRT TV broadcaster in Uzbekistan.
Over the course of the Week, the events recorded more than 15,000 visits, including 11,139 industry professionals, many returning several times, underscoring both the scale of the programme and high professional engagement. The breadth of materials, technologies and solutions on display reflected the sector’s focus on sustainable growth, while the strong international presence highlighted the growing global interest in Uzbekistan’s construction market and investment potential.
UzBuild 2026 exposition extended across all pavilions of the Uzexpocentre NEC, as well as the outdoor demonstration area, covering a total gross exhibition space of 15,000 square metres. The showcase featured innovations spanning the entire construction lifecycle: from architectural design and planning to finishing and interior solutions.
The largest top five international representation came from China (124 companies), Russia (81), Germany (24), Türkiye (22), and Italy and Kazakhstan (7 companies each).
This year’s exhibition was remarkable for the strong presence of national and collective country stands. Germany, Russia and Türkiye presented their national pavilions, while the companies from Georgia, Iran and Latvia were represented with their collective stands.
A particularly significant part of the exhibition was occupied by the Made in Russia National Stand, where the participating companies presented state-of-the-art construction and finishing materials, as well as advanced technological solutions for infrastructure and commercial development projects aimed at improving efficiency and reducing project costs. The Iranian Collective Stand brought together the leading producers of cement, metal products and sandwich panels, as well as representatives of the National Innovation Fund of Iran.
The Made in Latvia Collective Stand presented a diverse range of construction solutions, spanning everything from building materials and digital technologies to products designed for urban landscaping and public space development. Latvia’s debut in this format signals new opportunities for expanding cooperation with companies from the European Union.
The companies from Georgia also made their first appearance with a collective stand, presenting services for design and construction of internationally rated hotel developments, integrated MEP engineering solutions, and a selection of structural, finishing and decorative wood-based materials. The strong interest of Georgian businesses in the Uzbek market was further reflected in live broadcast coverage by Georgia’s BMG business TV channel.
The themes explored during the Week attracted an unprecedented professional and public attention. The event was covered in 84 information sources, including government and international organisations, diplomatic missions, major corporations and industry associations, regional administrations, agencies, banks, prominent bloggers, and 33 domestic and international media outlets. Over the course of the event, the organisers’ social media channels recorded a reach of more than 7,500 followers, while the total audience exposure exceeded 6,581,600 users.
Business delegations from Tajikistan, Syria, Azerbaijan, Georgia and many other countries attended the event to experience the latest innovations first-hand. The programme also attracted significant interest from key public institutions, including the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Uzbekistan, Committee on Entrepreneurship, Competition Development and Industry of the Legislative Chamber under the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, New Tashkent Construction Directorate, Uzbuildingmaterials Association, and diplomatic missions representing the participating countries.
UzBuild 2026 has once again demonstrated both its scale and its status as the region’s leading industry platform, presenting solutions tailored to the needs of a wide spectrum of sectors across the national economy. The visitors represented industries ranging from construction materials and automotive manufacturing to transport engineering, agriculture and furniture production. Set against the backdrop of large-scale development projects across the country, including the flagship New Tashkent and New Uzbekistan projects, the exhibition provided an essential platform for presenting advanced engineering solutions that underpin modern residential and industrial infrastructure. Particular attention was drawn to innovations designed for major developers seeking to enhance the quality, comfort and sustainability of residential projects, reflecting Uzbekistan’s growing emphasis on resilient and safe construction practices.
In this context, a defining component of Uzbekistan Construction and Interior Week was its business programme, namely the 7th International Conference of Construction Industry — ICCI 2026, where industry professionals came together to discuss the sector’s key trends, address emerging challenges and explore future areas for development.
The outcomes of UzBuild 2026 clearly reaffirm its standing as a major event both within the international portfolio of the UzBuild brand and among Uzbekistan’s leading industry exhibitions. Its success is reflected in the strong endorsement of both exhibitors and visitors.
Saidnosir Usmonov, Adviser on Information Policy to the Minister of Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Uzbekistan:
“For many years, UzBuild has served as an important platform bringing together many representatives from Uzbekistan and from around the world, including countries with highly developed construction industries. It provides an environment for the exchange of expertise, professional advancement and strengthening the international cooperation. Over the past nine years, the total volume of construction activity has reached 210 million square metres across country. The exhibition and conference have played a meaningful role in supporting this growth by facilitating mutually beneficial agreements and strengthening partnerships with international counterparts.”
Mariam Vakhvakhishvili, Chief Operating Officer, Infinity Ventures Holding:
“We decided to participate in the exhibition for the second time because of its remarkable scale and truly international nature. Uzbekistan’s market is drawing the growing global interest, as the country is undergoing a period of dynamic economic and financial growth. Just six months after my previous visit, I was struck by the pace and extent of changes in Tashkent and across the country. The combined exhibition and conference format is particularly valuable, creating opportunities not only to present solutions, but also to exchange expertise and engage in substantive discussion on the industry’s most pressing challenges.”
Zhiger Suleimenov, Chief Executive Officer, TSSP / DeWalt:
“We are taking part in UzBuild for the second time because it offers an exceptionally effective platform for engaging with major companies, including manufacturers, industrial enterprises and construction businesses. In everyday circumstances, it is difficult to gather feedback so quickly or discuss market needs so directly, yet here everything comes together in one place, making interaction highly efficient. It is also an environment that encourages new collaborations and partnerships. For us, it serves as a focal point where professionals from across many sectors and market opportunities converge.”
The event was organised by Iteca Exhibitions International Exhibition Company in partnership with ICA Eurasia Group and Congresses of Central Asia — CCA.
Registration is now open for UzBuild 2027 to take place on March 16–18.
