Uzbekistan produces 8.8 million tonnes of cement
In January-October 2020, Uzbekistan produced 8.8 million tonnes of cement. This indicator increased by 2.6% compared to the corresponding period of last year. This was reported by the press service of the State Statistics Committee.
The largest share in the total volume of products produced by enterprises for the production of cement at the republican level falls on the Tashkent region 46.7%, Navoi region 35.1% and Ferghana region 12.8%.
In January - October 2020, Uzbekistan exported cement products worth US$27.6 million to foreign countries.
In turn, in January - October 2020, cement products worth US$105.5 million were imported into the country from abroad.
