In 3 months of this year, large enterprises in Uzbekistan produced 2.2 million tons of cement. Compared to the corresponding period last year, the volume of production increased by 14.1%, the State Committee on Statistics of Uzbekistan said.

In January 2021, the enterprises produced 559,300 tons (growth rate 7.3%) and in January-February 2021 - 1.3 million tons (growth rate 18.4%).

The largest share in the total volume of products produced by cement production enterprises in the Republic falls on the share of Navoi region 41%, Tashkent region 40.5% and Ferghana region 9.6%.
