In Uzbekistan, the rules for installing passports of construction facilities with QR codes were approved

The Ministry of Construction and Housing and Public Utilities of Uzbekistan approved the Regulation on the mandatory installation of passports of construction facilities. This was announced by the channel of legal information from the Ministry of Justice.

The passport should be placed at the entrance to the construction site or in another place available to the public. The document must have a QR code that is automatically generated in the Schaffof Kurilish system (transparent construction) and leads to the page of the facility.

The developer is obliged to demonstrate a passport from the moment of registration of the facility in the regional construction inspectorate and until its commissioning. For manufacturing, a material resistant to moisture and external influences is used. The size of the banner is set at 2.4 × 1.2 meters, and its lower border should be at least one meter from the surface of the earth.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced the initiative to introduce passports with QR code back in September 2024. The passport should contain information about the type of object, contractor and deadline. Buildings without a passport will be considered illegal.
