Hyundai Has Won Tender for Construction of Power Plant in Navoi
The well-known Hyundai Company has won the bid for construction of 450-megawatt power plant in the city of Navoi.
According to the company reports, they received a letter from Uzbekenergo JSC on Monday, April 2, regarding the construction of a 450 megawatt combined cycle power plant.
The project cost was estimated by Hyundai to total $540 million, and the construction to take 38 months.
Hyundai Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. is the South Korean construction company established in 1938 by Chung Ju-yung, the founder of Hyundai Group. The company’s turnover accounts for more than $5 billion, and the number of employees is more than 150,000.
