Hanshin Engineering has announced its intention to invest in a number of major projects in Uzbekistan. In particular, it plans to build "Kokand City" in the Fergana region, as well as an international-level $800mn golf club in the Samarkand region.

Uzbek ambassador in South Korea met with the leadership of Hanshin Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd., Dunyo news reported on February 10.

Hanshin Engineering has announced its intention to invest in a number of major projects in Uzbekistan. In particular, it plans to build "Kokand City" in the Fergana region, as well as an international-level $800mn golf club in the Samarkand region.

Together with the ministry of construction of Uzbekistan, the company is also working on the creation of a unique in the region joint design institute. The scope of activities, the main financial and economic indicators are yet to be determined.
