Construction Sector of Uzbekistan: Trends and Outlooks at UzBuild 2025

The 26th Uzbekistan International Construction Exhibition UzBuild 2025 will demonstrate its exposition on February 25-27, 2025, marking the launch of the 30th anniversary exhibition season of the International Exhibition Company Iteca Exhibitions, partnered by ICA Eurasia Group.
UzBuild 2025 is the first exhibition in Uzbekistan to be held concurrently at two exhibition venues - Uzexpocentre NEC and CAEx Uzbekistan as part of the Uzbekistan Construction and Interior Week under the single brand. Held under the slogan "From Design to Creating Comfort", the Week has united a series of construction and interior exhibitions: UzBuild, BuildTech, WoodTech & MebelExpo Uzbekistan, as well as the ICCI Construction Conference.
For 26 years, the flagship international exhibition of the construction sector in Central Asia has been introducing innovations and promoting investments in construction – a dynamically developing sector of the national economy generating a significant share of the country's GDP - more than 6% in 2024. The modern construction equipment and materials play a key role in the construction activity and implementation of large-scale programmes like New Tashkent and New Uzbekistan, initiated by H.E. Sh. Mirziyoyev, the President of Uzbekistan.
Every year, UzBuild turns into a key industry hub, bringing together experts, manufacturers, and suppliers. It provides a dynamic platform for showcasing the latest trends and serves as an effective tool for promoting cutting-edge products and technologies. The exhibition's diverse exposition embodies UzBuild’s core concept — covering the entire construction cycle, from initial design to final interior solutions.
Thanks to its creative approach to effectively promoting the construction sector, the exhibition was awarded the certificate of Event Approved by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) back in 2007, as a recognition of significant contribution to the national economy of the host country and acknowledgement by the global exhibition industry, and this status should be confirmed regularly. This year, the exhibition is once again undergoing an audit to reaffirm its compliance with high international standards.
Being the No. 1 exhibition event in the construction industry in terms of scale and number of participants not only in Uzbekistan, but across Central Asia, UzBuild continues to expand its exhibitor base and geographical reach. The event focuses on attracting leading manufacturers and suppliers of equipment and construction materials, as well as developers of innovative technologies.
UzBuild 2025 will host over 400 companies and brands from 21 countries, including Austria, Azerbaijan, Republic of Belarus, China, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, Republic of Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Russian Federation, Spain, Thailand, Turkiye, Turkmenistan, UAE, United Kingdom and Uzbekistan.
The growing number of exhibitors and visitors has necessitated the expansion of the event to two venues - Uzexpocentre NEC and CAEx Uzbekistan. The expositions of the entire Week will bring together 516 companies and brands from 22 countries. For the convenience of both exhibitors and visitors, the expositions layout is clearly segmented, ensuring an efficient and well-structured experience at the event.
The interior part of UzBuild will be located in Uzexpocentre NEC (including the following sections: Windows and Doors, Decorative Lighting, Floor Coverings, Decorative Panels, Wallpaper and Cornices, Landscape Design, Smart Home Technologies, etc.). The 21st International Exhibition on Production Technologies, Woodworking. Furniture and Components – WoodTech & MebelExpo Uzbekistan 2025 will seamlessly complement the event.
CAEx Uzbekistan will host the following UzBuild sections: Construction Equipment, Tools, Elevators, Building Materials, Formwork and Scaffolding, Metal Products, Stone and Ceramics, Construction Chemicals, Electrical and Cabling Products. The specialised section BuildTech will be showcased in an outdoor area.
CAEx Uzbekistan will also host the business programme of the Construction Week, featuring the 6th International Conference of the Construction Industry - ICCI 2025. The expert platform will facilitate experience exchange and discussions on advanced solutions for the construction industry.
KOC Construction, a leading construction company with over 55 years of experience in Uzbekistan, Turkiye, the CIS, and Africa, returns as the General Sponsor of the exhibition.
The share of foreign participants is 75%. By the number of participants among foreign countries, the top 6 are: China - 132 companies, Russia – 52 companies, Turkiye - 30 companies, Germany - 19 companies, the United Kingdom - 15 participants, Kazakhstan - 10 companies. The National Pavilions will be represented by the United Kingdom, Germany, Turkiye, along with Collective Stands of several regions of the Russian Federation: The Republic of Tatarstan, Moscow, Pskov, Lipetsk, Kaluga regions, Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Republic of Bashkortostan. Also, the collective stand will be demonstrated by ANMOPYC, the Spanish Association of Construction and Mining Equipment.
The companies from Uzbekistan make up a quarter of the total number of exhibitors. These are domestic companies and brands - both large well-known manufacturers and exporters: Uzmetkombinat, Akfa Building Materials (Ytong), Techno Commerce, Toshkent Metallurgiya Zavodi, Arton, Basalt Wool, Uzkabel, Russkiy Les, Tiancheng Stone, Imperial Granite, Durable Stone, Twin Stone, and SMEs.
The specialised section Building Equipment and Technologies - BuildTech 2025 is an essential part of the UzBuild exhibition. It will showcase products of such well-known companies as KCP Co., Ltd. (Republic of Korea) and Eurasian Construction Machinery (Kazakhstan) - construction equipment, equipment for production of building materials, road construction technologies, concrete mixing equipment, and more.
A key highlight of the business programme is the 6th International Construction Industry Conference – ICCI 2025, taking place on February 25–26, 2025, at CAEx Uzbekistan. The conference will bring together representatives of government agencies, industry associations and unions, and the leading experts of the construction market to discuss the key trends and development outlooks of the construction industry. The main theme of this year's conference is "The Construction Potential of New Uzbekistan". Over 40 speakers and 650 delegates from 10 countries will take part in the discussions.
The exhibition will open its doors to all participants, from large corporations to startups seeking to present their innovations in the construction sector. The organisers look forward to promoting the market of Uzbekistan and the neighboring countries for replenishing it with high-quality, innovative solutions. Despite the increased scale of the exhibition, it will be easy for experts to find a product or service they are interested in following up the topics of the sectors located at the two sites. For this purpose, the organisers have upgraded the Iteca Connect mobile application, where anyone can plan their meeting schedules and routes in advance. Additionally, for convenience, shuttle buses will run regularly between the two venues, and information desks will be available on-site.
